Forget the Protocols that are Harming Our Moms
There is something we all should know before encouraging mothers to perform activity, including the physical demands of newborn care, especially after a major open abdominal surgery like a c-section. We are excited to host our most requested speaker, Dr. Katherine Sylvester, PT, DPT, founder of Operation M.I.S.T., a pregnancy and postpartum remote monitoring service. In this webinar, Dr. Sylvester teaches what most health care providers do not know about baseline vital signs, heart rate variability, and the silent impact of giving birth, including surgical delivery, on our body that takes more time than we realize to recover from.
