Whitney Whitmore is a wife, a boy mom (x4), and an Occupational Therapist with a passion for Maternal and Child Health. She has a decade of experience in Adult and Pediatric Rehab at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital where she has worked part-time in acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings. She believes in the importance of being both trauma-informed as well as grief-informed in our everyday practice and emphasizes the importance of mind, body, and soul in an individualized plan of care. Whitney is Co-Founder and Creative Director of Lily of the Valley Catholic Ministry that serves families spiritually through their journeys of: infertility, prenatal diagnosis, difficult pregnancy, pregnancy & infant loss, and children with complex medical needs. She owns an OT private practice and also contracts with MyCatholicDoctor.com, a virtual health system. She treats women virtually and in the home with an emphasis on Christ-centered self care and wellness as they navigate their ever changing roles, habits, and routines. She is currently pursuing certifications as a Perinatal Health Specialist and a Bereavement Doula and is excited to contribute to the growing field of Obstetric Rehab. When not serving in these roles, you can find her balancing family sport schedules, reading a historical fiction novel, gardening, or sitting on her front porch with a warm drink.
